IN THE HANDS OF THE FANS

FINGER ELEVEN RECRUIT FANS TO SHOOT, EDIT

AND DIRECT LATEST VIDEO

Toronto---Finger Eleven know their fans have everything to do with the success of their current Platinum selling album THEM VS. YOU VS. ME. In the ultimate collaboration, the rock quintet now pays homage to their loyal supporters by enlisting their assistance in the creation of multiple videos for the bands fourth single "Talking to the Walls."

On July 27, 2008 Finger Eleven, 40 select fans, and a professional film crew descended on the Brick Works in Toronto to shoot the band's creative take of their current single "Talking to the Walls." The strategic set-up enabled fans and crew to capture a stunning array of footage from 40 different perspectives, allowing for virtually unlimited variations on the band's performance.

Finger Eleven is now giving fans the opportunity to use all of the footage shot from this unique event to create their own edits of "Talking to the Walls." All aspiring video directors and fans are encouraged to go to www.muchmusic.com/talkingtothewalls to find out how to download the footage, edit, and upload their own unique version of the video.

Ultimately, there will not be one single video for "Talking to the Walls," but rather a plethora of versions including one created by Finger Eleven's lead guitarist James Black. In order to ensure a level of consistency between videos, the opening and closing will be pre-edited and used in every version. The intro includes a short explanation of the concept and a contest. All eligible versions will be viewable via MuchMusic online, and the crème de la crème will be televised with the winners name slated in the director slot at the end of the video. First prize and top honor as selected by the band will not only make their directorial debut on the Nation's Music Station but also receive a Macbook laptop computer for their future directorial endeavors and an invitation to the 2009 MMVAs!

Former Video-of-the-Year winner Finger Eleven possess a solid track record for creating top ranked music videos. The behemoth first single "Paralyzer" became a multi-format smash breaking the record for the most consecutive weeks at #1 on rock radio in Canada, while simultaneously topping the Billboard Charts. This rock anthem become the most downloaded track of all time in Canada, and was partnered up with a killer video that claimed the top spot on the Much Music Video Countdown. The second track from their current release THEM VS. YOU VS. ME "Falling On" made an impressive follow up by nailing the #1 position at Canadian Rock Radio, and giving the band their second chart topper at MuchMusic. The video for the poignant ballad "I'll Keep Your Memory Vague" hit #1 delivering a visual hat trick for the band. Now, Finger Eleven calls on their fans to create the ultimate video accompaniment for their current single "Talking to the Walls" which is already top 5 on the national radio charts.
